Installing custom content and mods in your Sims 4 game can be a bit confusing! From knowing where to place the items, to figuring out what to do when your CC doesn't work- there's a lot to know and it can be tricky, especially if you're a beginner. I've downloaded some custom clothing and hairstyles for Sims 4 and saved each item in the Documents-EA Games-Sims 4-Mods folder and saved the items under multiple named folders e.g. Women's clothes, men's hair. Each file has been unzipped and is saved as a package. File but they're still not transferring over to the game.

♢ Love to build? Want a new pack? Not sure which pack or computer to buy? ♢ Practical links. So I have a problem, when I go to Sims4 the mod screen appears and it shows everything I downloaded under 'non-script' mods, but none of them actually appear in the game and I am really confused, I've googled a lot but found nothing.I put everything in right folder, (Sims in Tray/Makeup/hair etc.

Mods) in and I do have Resource.cfgAll files that I have are.package, so I just put them in the folder. And Yes I made sure I clicked on Script mods in game. I'm out of ideas. This might be a dumb question, but you do have 'Enable Custom Content and Mods' checked off too, right?

The selection right above 'Script Mods Allowed' in your Game Options?Another thing to note is that, for some reason, The Sims 4 doesn't allow many sub-folders in the Mods folder. If you are used to organizing them with sub-folders (like for example: Mods Hair NameOfCustomHairWhichIsAlsoInAFolder CustomHair.package), the.package file will not show in the game. You have to either put the.package file directly in the Mods folder without any sub-folders in-between them, or you need to search online for the method that some people use to subdivide their stuff. I don't remember exactly what it's called, since I don't use it (opting, instead, for the lazy, disorganized choice.).
