📷I have been creating some models of various parts of Witcher 3. Note, these model don't load on mobile devices very well, I think they run into a memory issue due to the size.
You can view them fine on desktop. Tey are 3D models so you can zoom in and spin the camera. If you have a Vive or Oculus rift you can view them in Web VR, I have scaled the VR size so you are the same size as the characters so you can walk around the models and explore Witcher in VR a bit.Also I was content on quietly keeping posting these, however, Sketchfab, where I'm hosting them, has sent me a notice of policy change and some will be taken down due to size in two weeks (unless I up my account again) so I wanted to share before they are blocked. I did, Novigrad was a bit of work. With Ansel you have free control of the camera placement in the game when it's paused, so I moved the camera and took a ton of pictures. With Novigrad I tried to keep distance from buildings to reduce detail on building with a few exceptions. I knew I wanted the whole city so I had to trade off detail to keep the file size reasonable. It's kind of like google maps in 3D, you can see the building but zooming into street view is not ideal.
It is a really neat model to view in VR and walk around in.
