You should see a numberidentifying it. Now type select disk X (where X is the numberidentifying your SSD) and press enter.Type clean and press enter. This will write a blank MBR, YOU WILLLOSE ANY DATA ON THE SSD if you did have anything on it.

I currently am running Windows 7 Ultimate on my 400 GB HDD. I have a new Intel 330 Series SSD (240 GB). I have downloaded Intel's Toolbox for it, and the firmware appears to be up to date. I also have a boot disk for Windows 7 Ultimate. However, when I use the boot disk while running Windows, it cannot detect my SSD. The boot disk is detected by the BIOS, but cannot be accessed through Windows. Install Windows 7 on a USB drive with ease. Create two folders named Windows Files and WAIK Files on your desktop or any other drive which has a minimum of 5 GB free space. Step 2: Download the ZIP file from here and extract the contents to WAIK Files folder. If the Release Candidate is any indication (and it should be), then Windows 7 will be a nice upgrade for any Windows user. The new OS, however, is a huge step up for netbook users.
