The build went well and the footage is coming out nice and smooth as I'd hoped. The only thing I'm not happy with is my flight time. Around 6 minutes on a 3s 5200mah.Does anyone have any recommendations for motor prop combos used with success?I'd like to get a safe 10mins of flight time. I have tried some different combinations on ecalc but I seem to be going round in circles so hoping for some real world recommendations.My current setup is: 30A escs, multistar 3525 850kv motors, 11x4.7 CF props, naza m v2, all up weight is 1850g including a multistar 3s 5200. I could look at moving to 4s if needed.Thanks for your help!. I've been running the 4822 and 4830 on my bigger birds.
I've probably got more than 20 of them with no issues.What I think happened was either a batch, or design flaw in a particular line of them (the older black bell/green label versions) had really rapid bearing wear which I think might have to do with the tolerances on the bearing itself.Im about to buy some more, but 4225 390kV and wasn't sure if that issue was relevant to that line of motors, given your response Im probably fine.
