When Are Mods Coming To Fallout 4 Ps4
I think that's the wrong way to look at it, even as someone who's been firmly on the side of 'Team Playstation' since I've been playing video games.Sony won't let Bethesda implement mods. Xbox and PC do. Sony won't do cross network play with Xbox. Xbox is all for it. Sony would rather make you pay a subscription to simply stream PS3 games over the internet (rather than letting you play games you own for free). With Xbox, if you own a 360 game and it's supported, you don't have to pay to play it on the Xbone.
Fallout 4 mods have been available on Xbox One and PC for many months now. In October, Bethesda announced that it had finally reached an agreement with Sony to allow mods for Fallout 4 and Skyrim Special Edition. Notably, however, PS4 mods for both games are limited to ones that use internal assets only. Best Fallout 4 Mods for Xbox one and PS4. At present, there are more than 11,000 mods available in Fallout 4. Day by Day, new mods are being added into the Fallout 4 Game. It takes a lot of time to decide which mods are the best Fallout 4 mods from among thousands of awesome fixes, announcements, changes, and twists have already been done on 2015 Role Playing Game. Fallout 4 PS4 mods are finally here, and despite their limitations, the feature has been working pretty flawlessly on Sony’s console. Here are five of the very best mods you should try right now. Those of you on Xbox One and PC probably have similar versions on your respective platforms too.
With PC, you can play any game you own on PC from previous gens for free as well.If it was just one thing it'd be excusable, but Sony very clearly doesn't want to move forward in a consumer friendly way like the rest of the industry has. In fact, they're moving backwards with things like a mid-gen console that's only a marginal leap forward (as opposed to PC getting new tech that far surpasses the consoles, and Xbox waiting longer and essentially doing a new system that's much more powerful than PS4Pro and still completely compatible with the Xbone) and raising the price of PS+ without improving anything.
If Sony allowed you to play any game you own that's a compatible PS Now stream for free, that would basically mean the end of PSNow all together, since streaming (especially in such a large quantity) is expensive.Sony would have two options if they made PSNow for games you own free. One, is to make all discs and all digital downloads and everything free to stream. Which would be Pro-consumer, but would come as an enormous cost to Sony, since they would be providing the streaming ability for free, and they would not sell very much digital software, with most of the games probably coming from GameStop or Amazon at very cheap prices, since the games are a generation old already.Option two, would be to offer streaming it for free, if purchased digitally on the PS Store. This obviously would help Sony gain a small amount of income, but would essentially lose money in the long run because of players constantly playing and streaming from old games.Unfortunately the cause of this is due to the old PS3 Cell based processor, and as such, is very difficult (or impossible) to emulate as the Xbox One does. Since the Xbox one and 360 were so similar, it was easier and possible for Microsoft to implement BC.Basically PSNow isn't a solution to the missing BC on PS4, it's a replacement since it's all it can do. All companies look at $ signs, even the perfect Microsoft.
I can assure you if Sony wasn't making money things would be bad, how do you think exclusive games are funded? How do you think new hardware is funded? How do you think software and network improvements are funded? As someone else explained, PS Now runs on servers and that costs way more to run than MS's 360 emulator. MS doesn't lose money for letting you play 360 games you own, Sony would be losing money by letting you stream games you own, digital would still make them money but used games won't.
Fallout 4 Xbox Can't Download Mods
Proper BC just isn't possible due to the PS3 architecture, I don't know how many times this needs to be explained. We knew these consoles wouldn't have BC so if you planned on playing old games then you should've kept your old consoles.People seem to forget that MS are only being more pro-consumer than usual because they're losing so much, if Sony and MS switched position then things would be different like last gen.
Xbox is owned by the largest commercial software company in the world, and is one of their only hardware products.PlayStation is less than 1% of Sony, and is just one of hundreds of thousands of products.Software security is a big issue for Sony this generation.Bethesda are garbage programmers.Sony is smart not to let Bethesda and their users under the hood from a business sense.I'm not stupid enough to say 'hay, company, how about you fuck yourself over so I can do something rather meaningless'. I wouldn't expect that from anyone.Would I like mods on PS4? MehWill I get mad over Sony protecting their products? Because that would be stupidI wanted a PS4, I bought a PS4, I got a PS4.
